Hi guys looking for some help. maybe some pointers where to start and isolate the problem.

Ok have a stanley oil cooker heating the house.
System looks zoned with valve for upstairs and downstairs and what looks like a pipe to a rad.

Problem is big rad nearest gets hot an another smaller one in the hall, have cut them back no real difference. have also shut off all rads and got furthest away one to heat up.

    What should i check next#>:?

You seem to have a circulation problem.
    Could be a few things
    Balancing
    Circulating pump
    Sludge

For balancing go to the first rad take the cap off the lock shield side and close it fully then turn it back half a turn then go to the next and so on until you get to the last and it should be open fully

    Circulating pump could be worn

Do your rads heat the whole way down or is there cold spots in the rad if do its sludge and the only way to cure is powerflush

Hi seem to be making some progress here. I have closed all rads first and then opened the furthest away one fully and it got good n hot. i then proceeded to reopened the balanceing valve a little each time on each one down the line and i seem to have definatley improved the problem immensely, will keep balancing and let ye know.
