By the way, if people would like to spread this around, not only among the theatre community but among the arts community generally, the more who read it the better - you have a much, much better chance of getting funding for your arts project if you follow these tips. An awful lot of people think the various councils' arts funds are simply an alternative to An Chomhairle Ealaoin's bursaries, but they're quite different in purpose and who and what they'll fund.
