    It could be a driver issue that will be eventually fixed but I wouldn't risk it. Assume it's a faulty graphics card and send it back.

    I've had that where the entire bottom of the screen goes a bit wonky after a wake up, seems to have cleared after the last update but does sometimes happen when I'm remote desk topping via logmein or ARD. You can always run an apple hardware check by holding D or R at startup (too early to remember exactly).
