LC Results For Grad position applications

    Hi guys.

This question has been asked and kinda answered a fair bit but i just want clarification.

I have a 1.1 BSc in IT and expect to get a 1.1 in my Bsc(hons) come May. Problem is i only got 250points in the leaving cert. I’ve been looking at a lot of grad positions and they ask for minimum points in alot of cases, and in some cases like JaguarLandRover they have an online application that has a box to fill in your leaving cert results.

Is it a case that if the grad employer asks for minimum LC points that you don’t meet, your application wont progress beyond the initial screening? If so i might be tempted to lie and hope they dont contact my secondary school hahaha...... ^.^'

Just answer it honestly and if you pass screening then you pass screening. If you lie you've not only wasted your own time but also significant amounts of their time as well as cheating honest applicants in the process. They're not asking for the good of their health, they will check transcripts etc. prior to you starting with them.
