Definitely an excellent price. A top manufacturer. Looks class. But it would seem from the reviews that it is a good, rather than a great TV. If I was in a hurry to pick up a quality 3D TV then I would probably take it.

Going by the other ibood threads here you wouldn't want to be in a hurry for anything you order from them.

They also state there is a '47 inch on ibood extra.

what or where that is I have no clue.

The brother picked up one of their last TV offers, another Panasonic non 3D set. It was shipped from Holland. Delivery took 8 days from when he ordered. Others have fared worse I know.

AVForums introduction tries to explain, but I got fed up trying to figure it out.

If your looking at Panasonic I wouldn't snub their plasmas, The picture quality is way ahead of the Led's like this one, unless you have a bright room that requires led, something like this should be considered http://www.panasonic.co.uk/html/en_GB/Products/VIERA+Flat+Screen+TV/Plasma+TV/TX-P42ST60B/Awards+%26+Test+Results/12258540/index.html the review speak for themselves, you can also pick it up in 50 & 55, it comes in about €30 more expensive than this bargain alert from pixmania http://www.pixmania.co.uk/plasma-tv/panasonic-tx-p42st60e-3d-plasma-tv/21291485-a.html?ectrans=1#srcid=9689

    This should help re differences
    http://www.panasonicstore.ie/products.html/tv/smart-led-tv

Quick glance seems to be motion handling us better and has voice recognition.

I've been looking around for 50inch or so led and the et60 was on the list...if this had a 50inch version would be snapping it up...think I'll hang onto the Jan sales.

Comments above re plasma is spot on...the GT60 is a real beauty... But I've a plasma already and is great watching it at night but frustrating during the day (need to close 10 blinds to stop reflections).

A bad plasma is frustrating but that Panasonic wouldn't be that bad unless there was a lot of light in the room, the reviews say it's pretty ok in daylight, Just looking at the pice of that plasma I linked to and it's a bargain alert in it's own right.

I don't mind waiting on it at that price, just a wee bit concerned about saorview!
    Hopefully it is compatible.

Hard to say with any certainty, but there are DVB-T and non DVB-T models out there. Hopefully you get the former ;)
