    I have only ever seen one of these for sale on DoneDeal. I like the build of them, seem to be a bit slower than the springer/cocker.

    There very low in numbers there is a litter for sale on sg magazine ,,,,they are supposed to be a lot slower but no less effective, just dont look flashy in this day and age I suppose think I read that they are stubborn aswell

    I couldn't tell you. I just like their build and markings. I'm quite fascinated with older working breeds.

    Check out the Field Spaniel - was the gun dog of choice prior to WW1

    ah i'm familiar with the field spaniel, mate of mine has one, from working lines but he doesn't work her (shame). The sussex spaniel is another one.
