Oh Lord. A lot of brave people took to the streets not so long ago and made this island a lot fairer place for us all. Most are still alive and well, and kicking. Be grateful not scornful.

What's needed is a sit-down protest to block commuter traffic in order to really get people on your side.

200 people should be plenty, but report 5,000 on twitter just to on the safe side.

Oh look, that speck in the distance...the horse that bolted. Stable is burnt down too...

I was marching in the 70's and I'm still in my 40's. You got a lot to learn, including respect. Funny how boards can let people get away with saying things that they would ordinarily be floored for in open conversation.

Yes. Block commuter traffic and give you plenty of notice of doing so. Not at all like roadworks.

Pot kettle old man. Respect is given not earned, and being an internet hardman loses any respect.

Don't get in the way of people who are working to live.

Ah yes , all the smart comments . Whinge and moan all you like . Back then WE helped get "One Man , One Vote" for the people in the North. It took a lot of protests, but if it was"nt for them, the war in Viet Nam would have gone for another 40 years. Problem with todays generation --- You all have had it handed to you on a plate and give a sh1t about nothing!!!

Will you be stopping in Ann Summers on O'Connell Street first to pick up a "Fúcking Hatchet"?

When you say things like you're bringing a hatchet, don't expect people to take you serious.

You do realise it doesn't matter who is in power the same results will happen?

For those who honestly thought that FG was going to change anything is just laughable, you might as well of voted for FF, at least you knew what you were getting.

So, how have you helped the protest movement evolve over the years subsequent to your great triumphs that you've just mentioned? I'd say you must be a whiz when it comes to mobilizing people by now, after all these years..

I'm sure you're not the kind of useless old yakker who complains about his lack of effectiveness as if it's all the fault of today's generation... oh.
