i know bbb do 52/53 chainrings for compact chainsets and 36/38 inner rings , might be worth having a look at as a cheaper option

    Have 2 used cranksets.
    Ultegra fc6600 53/39 170 mm cranks (80 euro) and a 105 5600 53/39 also think 172.5 cranks(50 euro)
Both used with some scuffs on cranks, but still in good condition. If interested let me know and I will root out some pics.

Not sure on miles, I got it off a guy that used it only a few time and I've put bout 400 kms on it it's on a spare bike I used last summer a handful of times bb is hollow tech but I wanna keep that cause I'm changing to compact cause I'm givin my son the bike. I'd let it go for 60€ collected dublin22

I have an Ultegra 6700 crankset, 175mm if you're interested.

I bought it on here barely used and never fitted it to a bike. 130euro.

As with this, Im fairly broke after the Di2 upgrade so Id say this would be out of reach for the moment :(

I have Shimano Tiagra 4600 Double 10sp Chainset 53-39 175mm. I have only done <100km and was thinking of changing to 50-34 as that is all I am good for! The problem is I would need the equivalent 50-34 in return otherwise this is a non-runner.

    About €66 on CRC btw

Still have the 2 used but good condition cranksets as per post 5 above. Make me a reasonable offer for either and its yours. (will only need one at most for when I develop some leg strength - if ever)

Possibly be interested in the 105, whats the lowest you would go on it? + where are you based?

Only reason Im not jumping on it is the colour, my bike is matt black, and Im a bit picky with the old colour coordination! :o

Based in Kilkenny. You can have it for 30 + postage(probably about a fiver) if you wish. Its just sitting there for the last 2 years, but it's got to be worth that to somebody. If collection was possible it would save boxing up etc, but can post either. Must make room for more junk on my garage shelf.
I understand about the colour - would probably feel the same way myself:).
