Boiler and Radiator HELP!!

    My radiators arent heating up but the boiler is on. I think i could have moved the valve in the attached pict but im not sure.. can someone please let me know if the valve at the bottom looks to be right?? its freeeeeezin :)

    Turn the valve in the upright position.
    The valves function is to give you hot water only.So you are only heating water with the valve down

    Yes the red handle should be in line with the pipe not across as it is

    the radiators are on now but not very hot, i turned the small red wheel thing and I dont think i should have touched it. what way should it go?

    Turn it the whole way to the right when it tightens turn it back a full turn

    clockwise? i did that and it seems to be worse?
    do i just need to call a plumber?

    The valve with the handle is for the rads the valve with the wheel is the balancing valve.Put the wheel valve back the way it was and make sure the other one is running with the pipe.
    If that doesn't do the job you might no option but to call someone in

    i cant remember what way the wheel was so i think thats where i am going wrong!! thanks!!

    Fully clockwise then back one turn
