Could be either Bully or Red Dead, one of those would be the stuff of legend.
My heart belongs to the latter, Red Dead 3 or whatever it's called could be magnificent, especially if they scale it up with regular trains and the multiple characters in the mode of GTA5, perhaps the closest cinematic equivalent might be Once upon a time, with multiple viewpoints.

    Red Dead.....Revolution? (why not?)

    From Wikipedia

The brand is mostly known for Grand Theft Auto, Max Payne, L.A. Noire, The Warriors, Bully, Manhunt, Midnight Club, State of Emergency, and Red Dead

    it's anyone's guess really

Rockstar own the LA Noire IP. They had said they plan to do something with the franchise. It had been done by Team Bondi, so if they do something with it, it would be the first time it'd be in one of their in house studios.

Would Bully or Red Dead be considered a 'famous IP'?

I'd like to think something bit bigger if their gonna use that terminology.

Red Dead is definitely a famous ip although I feel that Bully is debatable for the term of famous. It's an excellent game but was it that popular?

Famous and popular don't have to go hand-in-hand. Bully generated plenty of controversy and courted headlines, which certainly helped it become famous. Wasn't hugely popular, but was an excellent game as you say.

Also, Rockstar's Dan Houser said that he'd like to make a sequel in September...so fingers crossed.

    🤪

Red Dead sold about 13 million copies. I'd say it counts.

Um, what does 'IP' stand for? :o

Intellectual Property. It's basically a brand or franchise.

Please let it be a new Red Dead. Please, please, please.

Intellectual property. For example, GTA as a brand is an IP. So is Metal Gear, Call of Duty, Halo, etc.

Didn't they mention Bully a few times over the last few months. They may have re-covered the IPs copyrights and all that. Good chance it'll be a new Bully, which I'd personally love to see!

Not to mention the countless awards it won.

Would LOVE a RDR follow up, my favourite game on the PS3 I think, preferably not with Jack Marston but would take it if that was all they offered!

it'll be Bully 2 as they have registered that name the other day

I read that as, they are working on a new IP which will be famous once it is released. Bit cocky of them

    Please be RDR 2...

A Bully game with a city to explore, given the scale is different with the vehicle selection being made up of skateboards and bikes, multiple schools, maybe colleges, hospitals, theatres, cop shops, could be a dense explorable city.
Like the jump from School Daze to Back 2 School on the Speccy.
