    Hi All,

I'm expecting a "new" friend (don't know entirely well) who I was planning to take to maybe Howth or Killiney tomorrow during the day (walk, food, pint etc.), but judging by what's happening weather wise that may not be a goer..

I can't list a load of interests for you as I don't have the info, but can anyone give me (as a newbie to Dublin myself) a few pointers to get outside the city without being stuck in a pub? :pac:

The weather needn't be a problem if you are suitably dressed. You're always going to be near a cafe anyway. Or you could try a museum?

Phoenix Park has all three: outdoors, cafe, exhibition area.
