I sold shares this year and the gain was below the €1270 exempt threshold, but ....do I still need to file a tax return?

I also got small amount of dividend under €100 does this have to be recorded also?

I have the same question, if anyone is up for it.

The Revenue leaflet mentions the exempt threshold in the context of calculating the liability, but doesn't say anything about it when it talks about the obligation to make a return.

So by the letter of the leaflet, it looks like I have to make a return - can anyone return or deny?
