I was a regular for many years, even having a stand with DKW Ireland, but I found it got boring and lost interest a few years ago. I might give it a shot again this year.

    Youtube teasers http://www.youtube.com/user/ClassicMotorShow?feature=mhum ;)

Maybe there'll be an 'ex-Irish classics saved from rust in the Emerald Isle ' stand

Im going to it with the missus and as the £stg is falling I might be in the mood if the right Mercedes car is there. Pity those two 'wheeler dealer' idiots will be there.

Going with the girlfriend myself, we are driving there and I want to take the P1800 but she wants to go in the Volvo S60, heart says P1800 head says S60.

I've gone to this show a good few times and also to Beaulieu, Haynes Museum and Goodwood Festival of Speed etc but decided this year to give all shows a miss for a bit as they get a bit samey and I wasn't enjoying them as much. Hopefully after a break for a few years I'll enjoy going back.

I agree, I think they "cheapen" the show. Always avoided them when I went!

Save up and go to Dusseldorf/Essen in Nov/Dec http://www.essen-motorshow.de/en/ems/index_alt.html or http://www.siha.de/tce_uk.php?m=1&ms=1 in March :cool:

I gave up going to anything here, went to NEC last year for the first time, going with car again this year. Pretty awesome place. And the Christmas Markets are on in the city centre too, so train in from airport. That'll keep the GF happy, win win.

Good show, well worth trip, cannot be easier to get to from Birmingham Airport, book tickets on line, cheaper, use discount code 2013SC, to get a little extra off.

Great show, but not to go every year, I've done the last three on the trot, gave it a miss this year.
