So, there was a bit of speculation about where she was moving after her stint at 98fm.

Apparently she'll be joining Marty Miller for a new 'Morning Glory' show on Radio Nova. Pat Courtney (currently on breakie) is moving to drive.

"Joan left 98FM earlier this year to spend more time with her family ..."

Really? I thought it was because her show was performing poorly. Im becoming concerned as to how presenters continue to get jobs on radio, very little young blood out there.

Just heard a trailer for this on Nova.......It doesn't bode well.

Courtneys style of "crazyness" was bad enough, but another morning crew style programme is just what the doctor didn't order.

Will have to wait and see though..

To be fair Declan Pierce said he was leaving 4fm to peruse interests. 2 weeks later he's filling in at fm104. I wouldn't believe everything you read on the wonderful World Wide Web. ;)

Maybe he should have pursued interests instead.

Any reason he can't do both?? Not like FM104 takes up his whole week...

The interest he pursued is the running of an events company ... http://itsmyevent.ie/ ... and best of luck to him with it!

As far as the station is concerned, he's someone important. What has being a surgeon got to do with anything??

Show was REALLY bad this morning for the 30 mins I listened before turning off.
Pat was kinda annoying but these two were like something from SPIN103

If he was that important he'd be telling THEM what he wanted to do....he's just another jock...........A surgeon is useful...

Would Spin listeners want to listen to Nova?
Or would Nova want Spin listeners. Surely wrong demographic.

Many of us do... (listen to Nova). As we're absolutely fed up with the inane drivel that passes for music nowadays on mainstream radio.

At least you have a little more choice down in your neck of the woods, up here in 6 county land you get force fed 'teeny pop' or C & W 24/7 !
