If i wanted to find out where my vauxhall astra import was originally sold where would I start?
Need the code for the ECU and though I'd try this before I pay the main stealers.
I didn't vrt it myself but have the receipt for the vrt.
would the original reg be on that?(i havent got it to hand)

What is the problem with the ECU? Do you need to replace it? Reprogram keys?

If you have the handbook, it should be stamped in the front of that.

Alternatively, try contacting Opel Ireland with the Chassis number and hopefully they will tell you where it came from.

Email Vauxhall in the UK, I've done it before and found them very helpful providing history of a UK car we were looking at.
