Love/Hate Season 3 Recap

    Living abroad at the moment with no access to my DVD collection and wanna watch the new series of Love/Hate. The only issue is I have almost forgotten all of what happened in Season 3. Would someone be ever so kind as to post a recap of the main events for me please?

    Started off with Aido getting shot in the leg. Turns out that this was the IRA (Dano). Nidge was getting involved with them. He was going to bring in guns with his drugs. Being a hot head Darren throws a pipe bomb at the IRA guys and blows up a car. Nidge trys to calm things down and takes Git (head IRA guy) out on the beer. After a lot of booze and brazzers they go back to the pub. Siobhan is there and Tommy and Darren. Siobhan is out having a fag when Git sees her. He starts to rape her but is caught by Tommy who gives him the mother and father of a hiding. He is in an awful way and Nidge doesnt know what to do when Darren picks up a keg a drops it on his head finishing him off.
    The gang then tries to pin it all on Elmo and his mate (who Darren shoots as part of the cover up) as they had a row with Git earlier in the evening. The IRA dont buy this though and spend the rest of the season on Nidges back. It comes to a head with Nidge contemplating a new life in Spain and Darren also going to do a runner. At one point the IRA have Nidge in the boot of a car and and it looks like he is a gonner but Darren comes to the rescue shooting one of the IRA and completing the rescue. Nidge then meets with the head IRA guy (Sean McGinley) as he knows there is no way out. He wants payback for Git. Nidge aggrees to have Darren shot. Elmo and Aido mess up the hit though and Darren gets away. As Darren is on the phone though Lizzie (IRA girl who fancied Darren and helped out on the hit with Elmos friend) comes up behind him and shoots him in the head. The IRA guy Darren killed was her brother.
    The other major point I forgot was that Nidge fancied Dano's wife, he was obsessed but Tommy ended up sleeping with her. When Nidge found out he smashed Tommys head with a steel bar. Putting him in a coma.

    Yeah - I remember Git looking a "bit green around the gills".

    Also:

    -Dano interrogated Nidge early on and hit him but Nidge came up with an agreement to ship arms for the IRA with his drugs. When Dano finds out that it must have been Nidge's gang who killed Git, Nidge convinces Tony (head IRA man) to continue the deal and he agrees (Darren is given 100% the blame which is sorta true as it was Darren who did actually kill Git: Darren also was drunk and disrespectful at an IRA sing song in front of Tony earlier on in the series). Dano was obviously not involved in that decision!
    -Tommy and Debbie extend their relationship and Tommy is obsessed with Debbie. After Tommy is hit by Nidge (for sleeping with Dano's wife: is Nidge furious because he also fancied her or is it because this could further infuriate the already angry Dano and cause more IRA trouble for Nidge or both is unsure?), Darren has an affair with Siobhan (who is also Nidge's niece).
    -Dano was always drunk on nights out.
    -Lizzie's other brother died of a drug/drink overdose. Lizzie and Darren compared each other's family deaths. Darren was horrified to see he had killed Lizzie's other brother.

    Darren and Siobhan didnt actually have an affair though did they? It looked likely for a while but as far as I remember they didnt follow through.

    She threw herself at him and he turned her down out of loyality for Tommy (Who used to shag his sister haha)

    They were in bed Darren and Siobhan and had a very brief affair but yes Darren ultimately turned her down despite she saying Tommy wouldn't mind and Tommy was with others (Debbie, Georgina?).
