Hi looking at one of these to buy, any good feedback on them. Will be paying 4 grand and trading in my 10 year old micra. Does this seem good. Only 38000 miles on clock and full service history. In immaculate condition, automatic gear box. Any feedback greatly appreciated. booboo

That would be fantastic deal on a brand new one from showroom.

The only way to know if it is a good deal is to go to another garage with a similar car and see how they want.

BTW you will probably get very little off a garage for a 10 year car, you will be financially better off to sell the Micra privately and then go in and get a discount off the Rio for having no trade in.

So if they are allowing 3k for the micra how much cash are they looking for on top of it? 4k?

Seems very expensive for a nearly 7 year old Rio

Well da manual 2007 rios are worth around 4k private sale with approx 100000km on da clock. My girlfriend is selling hers. They r a good car no hassle at all. It depends what ur old car is worth...

They are not really allowing €3k on the Micra, they are just adding the generous trade-in allowance back onto the price of the Rio.

Fair point, an 03 micra is worth about €1500 really, so €5500 straight?

A proper reply cannot be made without specific micra details, not just "10 year old"
Reg year,Mileage , colour, spec, service history and detailed description of condition I suppose we could now guess its automatic !

Ok my micra is automatic, 2003, no spec! It only has 38 thousand miles on it. Only 2 doors. Gold and ok condition. No service history to speak of. oil changes and timing chain replaced last year.

Your micra might fetch 2k with such low mileagle
With 4k that brings you up to 6k

Quick look on donedeal shows a 2007 60, 000 on clock for little over 4k but its manual and private sale. The garage is lower mileage so worth more but not nearly double the price.

I say you need to haggle hard for another 1k reduction and get a warranty to make it a reasonable deal.

Offer 3k plus your micra and it would be a good deal.

Just to give an idea, this is 99% the same car. I know its not a dealer sale.

    http://www.carzone.ie/search/Hyundai/Accent/1.4-GLS-/201324215450141/advert?channel=CARS

Or this tiny mileage 07 rio for €5350

    http://www.carzone.ie/search/KIA/Rio/1.4-EX-4/201339218623405/advert?channel=CARS

So its basically overpriced but so is your trade in.
