Slugs are homeless snails.I'd imagine they'd be on the halfpenny bridge during the day and abbey street at night.

They usually find a quiet spot and curl up in their shell. As far as I know they like to say out of the sight of birds and other such critters oh and the French

I stood on one the other day in just my socks. I wanted to dip my foot in acid and then cut it off.

    Ugh, the thoughts of it.

I found a slug on the draining board beside the sink under a plate last night. Bizarre.

Slugs can get into a house through teeny tiny holes. They are truly evil creatures.
If you know what door or window they are getting in put loads of salt there.
The salt turns them into sliimy gloop.
If they are by sink then they are probably sliming up through pipes put out loads of salt on footpath by pipe.

    Tl:dr
Pour salt over the creepy feckers

If you got them in the garden, out-of-date beer placed in jam jars sunk into the ground makes for a happier death.

If you're letting beer go out of date then you have a much bigger problem than snails.

That happens in my house every Autumn when its cold. I went to put the bin out last night and there were several scattered around the patio. Slugs and spiders - its their time of year.
