Can't Find Two Channels On Satellite

I have a Ross freesat box. A few days ago, two of the channels disappeared. Euronews and Russia Today. I have searched several times on the Astra/Euro satellite, looked up sites and entered new transponder numbers etc. I do find Euronews and RT and they show on the menu, but there is no picture or sound. A window appears and says, "bad or no signal". All the BBC's etc are fine.

What am I doing wrong? Are they on a different satellite completely?

    Thanks.

Did you try these tp settings? Euronews: 12663 mHz, H. polarity, SR 22000.

    RT: 12610 V, 22000. RT HD on 11223 V, 27500.

Euronews: 12663 mHz, H. polarity, SR 22000. It says no program found.

RT HD on 11223 V, 27500. I have inputted this TP, it says it already exists, but I can't find it in the list of TP's. Tried a few times.

RT: 12610 V, 22000. It says, no program found.

Don't know what I'm doing wrong.

hi watching rt on 12610v, 22000, fec 5/6, QPSK,DVB-S, not sure if your box can put all that in but it is working.

RT HD is fine as well, on 11223 etc

You're probably just scanning the same (wrong) tp over & over. Not actually inputting anything.

Get a proper Freesat box & you won't have to go after missing channels.

was scanning last night and i too had problems with euronews and CCTV News on astra 28 couldn't find them even using the TPs mentioned above.

Had to revert to getting them on Astra 19.2 and now sorted. the UK FtA tuning guide on boards needs a relook i think especially with regard to the news channels and some of the movies.

    e.g. Movies for men, + 1 and More Movies +1 should be 12633 h 22000

    Thanks for the replies.

If I do a complete scan of the Astra/Euro1 satellite, searching for all channels. Shouldn't it automatically pick up Euronews and Russia Today?

Is there any way to wipe it clean of all channels and start with a clean memory. Many of the channels listed on the menu are blank.

Normally it will only search for channels on the stored frequencies/parameters, it will not search for new frequencies/parameters unless it has a blind scan feature.

There should be a factory reset option on the box but this may only restore it to the old frequency list installed at manufacture, so you would have to go through the complete frequency list and add or amend as required. Not sure if your receiver has a blind scan feature?

If you decide to go down the reset route you will have to recheck that all current transponders/frequencies are stored with the correct parameters/settings. Use one of these lists
