Yamaha HS Subwoofer. Anyone got one?

    As per title.

    I got a pair of Yamaha HS5 active monitors during the year and I'm delighted with them. They are a quantum leap up from the M-Audios I had before. Now the new gear itch is starting again and I'm thinking about the Yamaha subwoofer. I've the monitors set up to do a nice all-round job but I'm thinking with a sub to do the thumping, I could let the monitors sing.

    Has anyone either got the Yammy sub to go with their monitors?
    Or paired any sub with a pair of smallish monitors?
    Would you think it is a worthwhile investment route to improve overall sound, or would I be better off selling the 5s and moving up to the 7s or 8s?
