Hi i am currently leasing a shop, and the landlord wants to get floodgates for the premises and for me as the tenant to contribute towards them.I could not get flood cover as the area is susceptible to flooding and the landlord had previously claimed before my tenacy...I can understand his point in one way, but funds are fairly tight at the mo. And I also think if he wants to get them
he should pay .None of my stock is at floor level and theres also another tenant in an adjoining space who is also reluctant to contribute.Any ideas ? Dont really want to fall out with the landlord over it either..
