sorry if this sounds stupid as i'm not that technically minded but a friend gave me his old dreambox 800hd clone as he got a new one . it works in my house as he had set up the c-line before he gave it to me. but when i tried to log on to the box through my home network i could not access the box through its ip address . could this have some thing to do with the settings on my new 50 meg e fibre modem. the box is working and i can setup a bouquet manually but i would like to set it up with a similar channel line up to sky as my parents will be using it to watch movies and sports.
    any help appreciated:confused:http://b-static.net/vbulletin/images/smilies/confused.png

I've heard that some homeplug network adapters don't work with the new efibre routers, it might be something to do with that. Check if BBC and those work, if they do you'll know that you satellite cable is working, anything else you'll have to find somewhere else to get help.
