Working in a SME and use Sage 200 Version 5. We have been advised that Sage are no longer going to support this version so I have been advised by our Support Company that we will have to update to Sage 200 2013 and it will cost us to re write all our specialised reports etc. Wondering if anyone can recommend any alternative Accountancy Packages that are on the markets, that are relaible, user friendly and cost effective.
    Many Thanks

hi I am thinking of doing bookkeeping from home. Wondering can anyone suggest an accounting package where I can use multiple companies. I did look at quick books but didn't find it great, I use tas books at work and love it, but unfortunately cannot afford that. Has anyone any suggestions (ps at the moment I do not have any clients I am only advertising) so don't want to pay a fortune thanks

Sage have one called Sage One but I found it terrible but it's not very expensive. TAS is IMO by far the best.

    Hi there,

I am facing a similar situation, did you upgrade or go with a new package?

Also in an SME, 50 employees.

Love to know what you did.

    thanks
