fym or lime

    Have a good bit of fym to put out and want to put out lime aswel does it matter what order we put it out in or a gap between the two

    There will be little or no Nitrogen gain from FYM in comparison to slurry, especially at this time of year. Therefore you can choose which one you want to spread first or spread them both together if you wish!

    I had badly damaged land this year. I had a load of FYM to spread that had built up over a few years that I couldn't get out. It was like magic the effect it had on the ground in the space of a week or two. I don't know if it was the worms of bacteria but the land just seem to heal up and grass growth returned.
    I also limed earlier in the year as well.
