Moyvalley - wedding band fit in Balyna House

Hi,

I was just wondering if anyone has had there wedding in Balyna House @ Moyvalley ? We were wondering how well a band can fit in the half of the Balyna House roon that they remove the tables for the dancing. We will have about 80 guests and not want the dance floor to feel like a sweaty night club. I know bands come in all sizes but would love to hear feedback from some past brides or grooms who have had bands in there and how they felt the room fitted the band and the dancing guests.

played there a couple of times as a 6 piece. it'll be fine. I think "intimate" is the word youre looking for. waterford castle and luttrelstown similar. People will dance if they want to, a lot of people on the floor doesnt have to mean sweaty and likewise people can get sweaty on a big floor too if they want to dance

If the band are good, and it's important that they are, then they will make it work.

Played there many times a Dj...band took the back wall and i was in a corner still with plenty of room
No problems at all and dancefloor was big
