    Hi There,

Can anyone recommend an Electrician in Balbriggan, need a new timer fitted to a very old oil boiler, plumber was in and serviced the boiler and he said the timer cannot be fixed, its attached to the boiler, so he reckons an electrician should be able to fit a stand alone timer on the wall ?

    Thanks
    D:)

Why can't the timer in the boiler not be replaced? What make and model of boiler is it?

    Hi There,

the plumber that serviced the boiler said it cannot be fixed because the boiler is nearly 15 years old and the timer is attached the boiler, ie on the top of the boiler, its a firebird 50/60 super q, the time lock is a grasslin.

Do you reckon i should get a second opinion?

    Thanks

The integrated time clocks are still available for the Super-Q, The also used them in some of the models after the super-Q.
