Scar just above my eyebrow and through my eyebrow.

Hi. Just looking for some advice.
I fell off my bike about a year ago and got a bit of a nasty face plant onto some tarmac. My chin got grazed and a nice lump was taken out of just above my eyebrow.
It all scabbed over and the scab eventually went away. However, a line of hair is now missing from the middle of my eyebrow. And I have a quite noticable pink area where the scab was above my eyebrow.

Just wondering will the hairs ever grow back and is there anything i can get to speed up regrowth or recovery?
    And
Is there anything i can do to make the area above my eyebrow less noticeable..

    Thanks in advance!

Have you tried any treatment on the scar yet? Some people swear by Bio-Oil, others by vitamin E capsules rubbed into the skin. I think Palmer's scar treatment is pretty good for reducing redness and flattening scars. You can also get silicon based gels but they tend to be more expensive. You can also get silicon sheets that help flatten the scar if it's raised but I don't know if they do anything for changing the colour of the scar.

I was going to suggest makeup products but then I realised you're probably a guy :o I don't think you can get the hairs to grow back directly on the scar tissue but maybe the hairs growing beside the scar will make it look less obvious. I'm not doing a good job of describing that, am I?

I have a scar on my eyebrow as well. Thanks to my wonderful brother who banged my forehead off the corner of a table. Love siblings sometimes.

That was about 15-20 years ago and I still have a scar. You can see it but it doesn't bother me. I'm not sure there is anything I can do to have regrowth. I doubt it since it's been so long. I'd say learn to love it.

This gel is great for scars and should turn your scar from pink to white , but the hair will never come back.

Wasn't the break in an eyebrow a "look" some time ago anyway? :)

I think scars through eyebrows can look quite sexy sometimes. You won't get a scar to disappear, but something like Bio Oil is supposed to be good for healing them.

Something that could help,is a pigment implant, particularly if you are dark haired. It is like a tatoo that is colour matched to your hair.
