Any boardsies playing?

I play GO occasionally, but not all that much. It'd be cool to organise a game. Pick a server, date, time, map rotation and all head on for an hour or two.

The "Your first memories of Half Life" got me very nostalgic over first playing CS.

I remember first playing CS (Beta or 1.1, can't remember. Could have been later, 2003 maybe) in a cyber-cafe in swords. They'd have overnight games & evening games every week. I was probably the youngest person there. Good times.

I was big into Counter Strike back in the day, I still play GO occasionally - I would definitely be up for a Boards.ie game sometime. As you said it is very easy to organise and that is the beauty of it. Counter Strike was, and still is, a great game to play as part of a group.

While we are at it, anyone ever play Half-Life: Deathmatch Source or Half-Life 2: Deathmatch? Some of the custom maps are awesome and insanely fun to play in a LAN / group environment with a few beers.

Started playing cs/dod back around 02/03 I think. Would have done most of my early Csing in DNC temple bar. Did a few overnighters there and it was always great craic. Been playing on and off ever since then! Been playing a hell of a lot of GO recently with friends. It's pretty much the one game I will always go back to!

i'd be up for a boards game haven't played CS properly since 2001..... holy jesus is it that long ago now....

but yeah i'd be up for a boardsies game
