Still one of the most influential shows of our generation!

I never really watched it when it was on. Have considered starting now but haven't got around to it.

You know that Buffy's a pretty old show when Sarah Michelle Gellar is 36 now...

Not seen it at the time, on Netflix now so catching up there. Entertaining but not something I can't draw myself away from.

    This too shall pass.

It's aged in the obvious ways: fashion, technology, etc but I'm still very happy to watch a repeat on Saturdays on SyFy. They did a weekend showing the 20 best episodes and I was sucked right back in, watched them all. Even though I own it all on video.

The early episodes, not so much. But then you get the likes of "Hush", "Once More, With Feeling", and "Earshot", which was postponed due to the Columbine School shooting. And many many more, which still hold strong among the shows of today. Especially when you look at just how dark it became in the later seasons; Nathan Fillion's preacher being the perfect example.

There is one episode in particular, called Fool For Love, in which Spike regales Buffy with how he killed the previous Slayers. It was shot in a really interesting way, which I had never seen previously.

Terrible quality, but the way in which it is told is pretty great.

I always saw it as a generic teen show and watched it sporadically when it was first shown, however some of the fans are really committed to it.

There's tonnes of fan fiction out there and also there was a forum called The Bloody Board which eventually had only one active user, posting alone. Worrying stuff:
