applying for garda clearence ?

hi guys just curious i know theres knowing whens the best time going on last years to apply for the garda clearance ? i have a friend who told me close to the end of november maybe even say 2 weeks in to it ? any opinions guys . and thanks in advance looking forward to hopefully heading by myself next year.

I would hold off until Dec/Jan. They don't take long at all to come through, think mine took 2 or 3 weeks
