    Hi,

I have a dimplex convection heater in my bedroom, its a wall mounted heater. Last night i noticed when lowering the temperature on the thermostat that there was a spark when lowering the temp! Is this normal? I know some thermostats make a spark when they switch

    Cheers in advance

    Ya
This thermostat is switching a heavy load so there will be arcing between the contacts when it switches on or off.
