Budget 2013 - Home renovation tax incentive scheme.

    Yet to see full details, but it looks like there will be a tax credit available to offset customer costs for 2014/15.

    Great news for both retailers and customers !

    hmm wondering should I wait till next year to get new windows to be eligible to get this ?

    Yeah will read a bit more into it,but I don't see why window replacement would be exempt from it.

    I emailed my local TD suggesting such a scheme months ago. He told me that he presented it to cabinet but it did not win approval. He said in July that he would try again. Glad he did !
    Hopefully it will bring work to tradesmen, generate income for retailers and cheaper home improvements for us.
