I wanted this cleanser for an age and finally got it as a gift last week.

On opening it the top was hard, akin to fat layer after roasting meat! Like wax!

So I mixed it around, now there's lots of little bits of hard bits in the cleanser.
Even when I warm it up in my hands the hard bits are still there.

    Is this normal?

Also, It says.. Don't use toner.
But after using the cloth for cleaning my skin, it's covered in dirt, make up, eye make up etc... even after rinsing in water.
Am I not using a dirty cloth to close my pores!?!?

Will using a toner affect my skin?!

Do a double cleanse, preferably a second cleanse with a different cleanser. I would always use toner after cleansing, a hydrating one. I woudln't personally rate Eve Lom as a cleanser full of cheap ingredients like mineral oil.
