    Hi,

I have a heat pump to heat my house and hot water. Most nights when going to bed the temp in the tank is about 35-40. Heat pump starts up at 4am to heat the water back up for the day back up to 52.(180L tank)

Now, my dish washer and washing machine have the cold water taps feeding them. Can I put the hot water taps feeding it instead.

Would there be much of a benefit in doing this?
Im thinking YES. Both machines woulndnt have to heat the water up as much. MY HP has a Cofficence of 4.5.

No, if you do that you will also be rinsing with hot water and your delicates/woolens will wrecked.

Depending on model you may get away with it but i would imagine wash time would be shorter so that could have a knock on with how well it cleans.

Thanks Billy. Might contact the makers of the dishwasher and see that they think.
