    Hi all,

Bought a Dell Inspiron laptop on ebay from from the States last week but didn't occur to me until I received that the charger is for a US plug socket. Just wondering if anyone can advise where to find an adapter for such in the general D6 area?

The power lead normally plugs into the adapter do you not have a suitable lead lying around. Check the input voltage on the adapter it should be 100v - 240v. US is 110v but as most adapters are universal i.e. 100v - 240v.

Just check if its 110-240volt, cut off the US plug and fit a local one
