Hi all, I'm getting conflicting info on fis online so just thought i'd ask someone to clear it up for me please -
Family with two dependants. The following are weekly amounts:

    We receive €100 rent allowance.
    Partner gets €154 jobseekers allowance.
    I receive €217.80 jobseekers benefit.

If i were to work 20 hrs p/w on min wage, €173, and claim FIS, would we receive:
    602 - (100+154+173) = 175 (60% of this) = 105

or would my partners payment go up to 217.80 when i started work and so it would be:
    602 - (100+217+173) = 112 (60% of this) = 67.20

Is rent allowance even assessed as means?
Is childrens allowance assessed as means?

    Thank you!!
