Sinn Servicing

I have spied a nice Sinn over on TZ and am considering purchasing, but am a little concerned about servicing costs. So far any mechanical watches I've bought can be serviced locally, but I understand these argon filled watches with copper sulphate capsules have to go back to Sinn for servicing.
I was just wondering if anyone has sent there's back to them and how the pricing compares to local servicing?

    Hi,

I'm pretty much sure that you better off sending it back to the manufacturer. I don't know (never heard of...) anyone who would be able to service an Ar Sinn but Sinn themselves. Also I wouldn't quite trust any other service on a gas filed watch but the manufacturer's.

    Just my opinion...
