Dental Help!

    Hi there,

I chipped my tooth (beside the main front tooth) about 3 weeks ago, and on Saturday, the other side chipped no pain whatsoever, so think there is decay and what not.

I have a partial denture (sleep walking into a wardrobe will do that to you) and I want to get the chipped tooth out, and a "fake" tooth added to the existing denture.

Thing is I am short on time. I am getting married in 3 weeks and I have been out sick for the last week with chest infection, so cannot take time off. Most places say that it will take 2/3 days for the denture to come back to them, but because the tooth is at the front, I cannot be without the denture during work hours, and seems no one works over a weekend! I really need help on this one.

Is there any dentist in Dublin that does same day, or even next day dentures, and will extract the tooth that could help me out?

find a technician yourself that will add the tooth on to the denture, it will only take them a few hours. arrange an appointment with them, but also make an appointment beforehand with a dentist to get an impression for the addition and have the tooth removed. if you act as the courier yourself you'll save a hell of a lot of time.

I know just such a technician and he would do it on Sat. (he's in Newbridge)
However, it may be possible/easier/better to fix the chipped tooth...?

That would be even better, or just a temporary fix until I get over the wedding. I have a huge phobia too (as everyone says!).
Will see what dentist says and hopefully get sorted out. Thanks for the advice anyway.
