Anyone ever been to puerto de carmen over Christmas? Is it busy or Quite? Is everywhere open?

    Hi

I've also got the chance to go to Lanzarote this Christmas so I'm wondering the same thing. If anyone has been in Lanzarote at Christmas I'd love to hear about it.

    Mick.

One of the most popular times on the Island, it's 100% open, I wasn't there on Christmas day, went out on the 30th for 10 days, there big feast day is the 6th of Jan.

nudger is correct, the sixth is a massive day, that weekend the native commercial enterprises are shut, the tourist places are open, we have been there and would recomend it to anyone

Don't know if you have been before but most of the places to go are on the sea front about a mile or so long, with the sea on your left walk all the way down to the "Old Town" nice places down there.

I have been there for Christmas day about 5/6 years ago. We stayed in Vik San Antonio half board and LOVED it!! We were already at the hotel so decided to spend christmas there 'cause we loved it so much. They had shows every evening and had a visit from santa who arrived on a camel on their private beach for all the kiddies!
P.Del Carmen was busy enough. It would be considered a peak season for them.
