My girlfriend was late submitting one of her applications, the deadline was 5pm and she missed it - will this mean zero chance of a response or it worth her while submitting even if a few hours late?

If it's all prepared, there's no harm in her submitting, though most firms do say that applications sent after 5pm won't be acknowledged. Sure, she might as well try, nothing to lose! I guess you'll know if she gets the acknowledgement email or not.

I thought the earliest ones had to be in Wed at 5pm though! Oh wait, no, consulting and NUIG applications are earlier, right?
