No, there's a ghost train now operating in the grounds/woods around Glenart Castle. Here's a link with some information: http://glenartevents.com/?page_id=62

I haven't tried it myself but my niece was planning to go with friends for her birthday (she's about 13 years old) so I'll ask her about it.

I've never heard of it before but I presume it's some awful road contraption like the one below - kids will probably enjoy though. :D

Looking in the Wicklow People today and loads of these spooky events seem to be happening. Powerscourt, Wicklow Gaol and another ghost train at Amber Springs Hotel near Gorey.

Can vouch for Clonegal castle at Halloween, really spooky, proper haunted house stuff

Would love to hear about Glenart

Update on the ghost train. My niece and her friends were due to go on it today but it was cancelled due to the bad weather.

Doesn't look so good since it only runs until the end of the month and the weather doesn't look like improving anytime soon.

Well the train ran last night in the rain, thunder and lightning. Was talking to a large group who went on it and they said it was very good and worth the 10 euro.

Went on it this evening. Worth the tenner a head and the kids loved it.

I heard that it runs between Guadalquivir and old Seville and at dead of night the whistle blows and people fear she's running still.

    Oh wait, that's Spanish train.

I heard that they get a load of Shankill heads on who start smoking, using bad language and drinking cans while listening to dance music...
