New PC build - advice please

Will only need mobo / ram / cpu

It's a workhorse PC, overall speed is very important (I only do a major upgrade every 5 years) but I do not game and I do not edit video

Silence is even more important. I've no plan to overclock

I was thinking of a higher end Haswell i5 processor?

What mobo would you recommend? Need 6 SATA connections minimum

Also I'd like to watercool the CPU, I have an ancient silent Zalman Reserator that cools my 5.5 year old C2Q 6600 CPU very well, will that fit the new CPU?

Or do you recommend another very quiet / near silent solution?

Alternatively you could get these which are ivy for the same price. Haswell i5's are about 10% faster clock for clock. The ivy here is 200mhz faster so would be about the same speed as the Haswell above. The board is also better as it supports raid and has 2 extra sata 600 ports. The Haswell's igp would be slightly better.

The mounting holes are different so the cooler probably won't fit unless you can mod it somehow or get the proper 1155/1150 brackets.
