I need to replace a window blind in our house. The window is approx 150cm wide and 155cm high. The blind that's on it was custom made but I don't really have that money to re-spend. Does anyone know if this is a particularly odd width as it doesn't seem to be in ikea, b&q or homebase?

    Hi yellow hen,
Generally these ready made blinds have to be cut down yourself. They usually come in odd sizes such as 162cm wide meaning you will have to cut 12cm off yourself.

The size itself is not an unusual size by any standards. You never said what type if blind it is that you are looking for though!

These ready made blinds are usually of a cheap quality and from looking at some of them (not all of them) they are not worth the money!

My advice, find somebody willing to give you a decent price on a custom made blind.

I recently started renting a new house and had to furnish/decorate myself including blinds but basically the best blinds i found on a budget was in Harry Corrys. I had to buy three 150cm wide blinds but i had to cut mine to fit my 145cm wide windows but you wouldnt have to cut yours at all. They are very easy to fit and have a great selection...I paid 22e per blind which is nothing in comparison to getting blinds fitted professionally!!

They can but they wouldn't be the fastest. Ours eventually arrived but it took 3 emails for them to eventually send them out.
Blind quality is fine, but there Customer Service is not great, if you run into a problem with the blinds then I wouldn't like to have to deal with it.
There was another crowd b4i or something, but they seem to be gone.
