    We have narrowed our choice of sash windows down to <snip> or <snip> sliding sash windows. How do I choose?? Any advice?

    For good u values you need softwood and airtightness is critical. also a product that is painted well thst will be good for 10 years before recoat. not sure can I mention brands here?
