Just starting to use Paddy Power online of late. Had an instance yesterday and today
Both of which relate to "pending" bets more than 30 mins after the result

Today cost me as I was trying to place a bet from a "pending" payout for the last in the curragh. Payout was from 16.40 and I was on the the help live chat . this took five minutes and i told him over chat what my intended bet was and he said he would send this request to the settlements department. Needless to say I missed the off. Intended bet won @ 9/2

Also yesterday I was told to email a copy of my bank card to take cash out. I have used my card to withdraw and deposit before.

Anybody else have similar issues with PP

Win anything with Bet365 then your account gets restricted very quickly

I'm having huge problems with their app lately. Trying to navigate backwards is a total no-go.

Any recommendations or comments on other online bookies appreciated. Looking for an alternative to PP now

tbh PP are unbeatable for specials.
The market is so so competitive now that each bookie can have their place and ideally you should use a mixture of all available creditable bookies if you can.

Do ye mind me asking what kind of bets are you placing for them to restrict your account?

Betfair, obviously!! Lots of markets, (generally) lots of liquidity, bet to VERY low overrounds, you know beforehand how much you can place at the price and if you win you won't get any hassle afterwards.

PP is the best walk-in, bricks and mortar bookie because of their money-back (not bloody "free bet"!!) offers and various other specials ("While Stocks Last" offers, price-topping all Ruby/AP rides etc) but, really, Betfair is where I do 90% of my punting now. Funnily enough, I had a bet with Ladbrokes last Saturday - my first since Cheltenham.

At least 60-70% of my bets are 16/17 runner handicaps. Decent sized e/w bets.
Rarely bet shorties and 95% of bets are e/w regardless of price.
