upc no service again

    Had really important work to do tonight,

    This is the second time this week upc has broke down always happens around 1am

    so broadband and tv gone now

    i will be ringing them Monday to say bye bye

    Had a major issue with broadband outages last week, it kept dropping which meant I lost a few days of on online course I ws doing as I couldn't keep the remote session open.
    Checked with a few neighbours and they were having a similiar problem.
    Rang UPC to complain, got the usual line of "we've checked the line from here and there is no problem." Amazingly there was no problem after that.:rolleyes:

    Just a rant... basically my broadband & televison service hasn't been working right since 15th November, the broadband works some days & not others same with the television.

    I have rang/emailed UPC on numerous occasions (to many to count) first they said they would send a technican out, technican didn't show up stayed in all day waiting for him to arrive.

    Then a few days later technican turned up seems all the cables have to be replaced inside & outside the house. He assured me a "UPC crew" would be out in a day or two to replace all cables..surpise surprise again nobody rang me or showed up again..

    Contacted UPC again, so sorry the "UPC crew" will be here either Friday or Monday they will ring you to let you know..again stayed in for 2 days no show!

    Contacted UPC again today so sorry again, the "UPC crew" local office will contact you shortly..

    What in heavens name is going on here...:mad:

    the people in the call centre lie all the time,If you have broadband problems they tell you they are expriencing problems all over your area just to get you off the phone,I was told that one time and was left 1 week without service,turned out to be a faulty router
