I need some advice . My 2008 Bmw 318 diesel flashed a warning telling me it was overheating . Had it towed to garage and am awaiting diagnosis . Car has Fairly high mileage for age but is regularly serviced and just does motorway miles. Just would like any comments . I have car two years and had to replace clutch , flywheel , disks all round and there was an oil leak in the back axle . I need another large repair bill like a hole in the head . Advice please......

Wait for mechs to give you their diagnosis and estimate.
How was coolant level? Smoking? Gunk on oil cap?

No . Coolant level fine , no smoking . Car serviced on the button by a very competent garage . Up until today all was well .

Yes all true . This is a beautiful car to drive but has cost me a fortune. Just don't need any more hassle from it . Think it's time to part company .
