never seen ones with an elasticated waist but I guess you could get them fitted.

justgipants.com sells them or else tatami sell the pants on their own.

What type of gi? Karate, BJJ, judo?

Sorry should have stated bjj or judo will do...a karate gi wouldn't last a class :)

I used to wear some pretty tough kickboxing pants. had an elasticated waist which I much prefer. Had to remove a red stripe stiched onto it first but that took 5 minutes.

never seen an elasticated gi bottoms before, surely they need to be tied above the hips tight so youre not constantly getting jocked.

A lot of websites sell just the bottoms btw

I have blue and white gi pants in our shop... but they're the pull cord type, we only have elasticated waists in kids sizes.

Sprawl do a version of Gi pants based on the design of their shorts. Might be worth checking out:

A guy I train with had his GF sew in a elastic waist to his spare pants. Prob straight forward enough, even bringing them for alterations would be cheaper than new pants.
