    Hello.
I have lost my Setanta channels and when I contacted Setanta I was told that Sky had moved the Channels to Astra from Eutalsat, but had no details.
Can someone please tell me what to do to get the channels back.
    Thanks.

    They're now at 12422.00 H.

I would have thought the changeover would be automatically on a Sky receiver (you are using a Sky box, aren't you?). Try powering down the box completely from the mains for a few minutes and then power back up again.

No sky box. VU+. Re-scanned to no avail. Thanks for your reply.

The transponder frequency may not be in your receiver so you'll have to add it manually, a rescan won't find anything if it's not there.

    Freq: 12422
    Pol: H
    S/Rate: 27500
    FEC: 2/3

Will give that a try. Thanks again.

No luck with that. Very strange. Earlier full scan showed BT Sports, but they show no signal. Liverpool FC is working but showing 36% signal. LNB or dish upsetting things perhaps.

How are your other channels? If all at usual levels then it's unlikely to be your equipment.

The BT Sports you found is the old placeholder.

Try a network scan and/or make sure you are entering DVB-S (and not DVB-S2) when scanning for Setanta.

The correct frequencies are: 12633, H, 22000, 5/6 for Setanta.
    12515, H, 22000, 5/6 for BT Sport
    12574, H, 23000, 8/9 for BT Sport HD.

King of Sat has them at both 12633 and 12422, probably not updated yet.

I suggest you use Flysat as the site is updated much faster. Even though they still have 12422 on there as well!

I generally use all 3 - Lyngsat, King of Sat and Flysat.

Thank you all for the help.
BT Sports came back following a channel settings download. I had done this earlier without success, now signal 80%.
Currently have my sky box connected and Setanta Ireland and Sports 1 are not in the channel guide. Should they be in the Sports selection on the sky box?

Sorry to confuse. I have a sky+ box, vu+ solo2 and a DM800. I have connected them all individually and none have Setanta working. No signal. Going to change the lnb now.

Loaded new settings for a DM800 onto the VU+ and got Setanta back showing the settings below. Has been a strange experience.
    12633 22000 5/6

Thank you all once again for your help.

You actually needed a new satellites.xml file for your E2 boxes, downloading new channel settings/listing/bouquets did this for you

Why do you not install autobouquets plugin on your DM800 and VU. You will never have to "Load new settings" again. Both receivers will autotune any frequency changesfrom then on.

Would you have a link handy for auto bouquets for vu+ ?
