Not sure if there's any fans of the series here, I know the Greek Mother hates them {:D} but I find them really really good. A very methodical review approach, detailed history & game overview, while mixing in mostly subtle humor. I've gone & bought a few of these games after seeing the reviews, & others I can only watch in horror as they increase in value way beyond what I'm prepared to ever pay {scowls at E.V.O. :mad:}

It's gone on a bit of a hiatus in the last year, unfortunately, think Roo is finishing up a PhD, but it's a sterling bit of entertainment; found out a ton from it.
The 'Rise of the RPG' eps were properly academic in their scope.

Yeah new eps are very scare, but like yourself, I find the content absolute quality & I too have learned a bunch from the series. I've bought games on the strength of what I've seen in the reviews, & I find his very structured yet humorous approach to the vids makes for really addictive watching

Ah Castlevania, just love them, actually have the PSP version of Rondo of Blood he mentions in the video but didn't realise it until I saw the vid so yay, cracking out the PSP and that game as soon as I get a spare minute !
